Lights, camera, action!

Last week the crew form Heno were on site to film interviews and our finds for a piece about the project, which will be shown on Wednesday 4th November on S4C!

There was lots for them to see, including another find that morning - Tom discovered a 1930's compact made in the USA concealed in the back wall of the Ty Pair. Only the lid of the compact (which would have been used to apply make up powder) remained, but in the photos below you can see what it would have originally looked like.

The building work itself is preogressing well - both the end and gable walls have now bene stabilised and rebuilt to full height, and the pillars which would have formed the division to the frontage of the cart shed have been rebuilt. The necessary stonework is coming to an end and soon work will begin on the timber framework for supporting the roof, so there will be lots of exciting changes to see!
